Yes, you are very welcome to attend our workshops alone, however, if you would like to attend with a companion, we encourage that you do so. The more the merrier!
Our programmes are designed for people with mild-cognitive impairment and early-stage dementia. Whether you are attending a memory service clinic, awaiting diagnosis, have recently been diagnosed or have lived with early-stage dementia for some time, you are welcome. We do not require you to prove your diagnosis.

Yes! All of our Arts for Dementia workshops are free of charge.
Other events on our listings page, signposted from other organisations may charge for their sessions. You can find the cost on the individual event pages.
In short, yes. Our programmes vary from 6-10 weeks long and we ask participants to commit to the whole programme. This allows us to keep numbers consistent and for people to build a sense of community and connection with one another.
Other events on our listings page may be one-offs or not have the same requirements. Please read their descriptions or contact the event organiser.
Unfortunately, we are unable to arrange transportation to and from our workshops. However, we are more than happy to help you plan your journey if that would be of assistance.
We try to recruit participants from the local area so they can meet others living nearby and experience what’s on offer in their community. However, if there is a particular programme you are interested in and you are able to travel to the site, we are more than happy to allocate you a space onto our course. After all, art is for everyone!
Our programmes are designed for people living at home in the community so unfortunately, we are unable to offer places to those living in care. If you would like help finding other events available to you, please do get in touch and we will be happy to help.
