Art in the Library at Swiss Cottage Central Library

21 August – 16 October

Join our FREE 9 week programme for people with early-stage dementia or mild cognitive impairment and their companions.

In Art & Storytelling with Ben Jenner, we will cast ourselves as explorers tasked with
discovering Swiss Cottage Library as if it were an unknown planet. Beginning with the
shared reading of literature, we will use sensory devices (ears, eyes, noses, mouths and hands) to gather information about the space, using drawing, painting, handwriting, typing, and photography.

The programme is free of charge and all materials are provided.
No previous experience is needed; it’s all about having fun and giving it a go!

Why join?

  • Make new social connections
  • Discover new skills at your own pace
