Drama and more at Shakespeare’s Globe – Jan to Mar 2026
Posted: 3rd June 2026Over the course of this eight week programme at Shakespeare’s Globe, participants were introduced to the world of drama and Shakespeare, guided by actor and comedian Gabi McPherson.

Through a playful and supportive approach, participants explored a range of well-known plays, developing confidence with language, character and performance.
Sessions combined drama games, movement, soundscaping and clowning, encouraging participants to interpret Shakespeare’s stories in their own way. Working in small groups, participants brought scenes to life through improvisation and performance, sharing their work with one another.

“I’d like to say … there’s a basic friendliness, which is enabling of everything … and that seems to me to be fundamental to this group. And within this group people are starting to blossom, and that’s brilliant.”
